Rhinos are extremely large creatures. They can weigh more than 2,000 kg (4,410 lbs). Equipped with sharp horns, they require only one move to take down a Lion of any size.
Hippos are the deadliest large animals in Africa. They are big as well as angry creatures. Even the Nile crocodiles do not mess with the Hippos.
Water is crocodile territory. When lions have to drink water, they are always watchful of an ambush attack by a crocodile.
Both Lion and Spotted hyena try to avoid confrontations as much as possible. A clan of spotted hyenas however can be too much for a pride of lions.
