1. The only flag without red, white, or blue
Jamaica’s flag is the only national flag in the world that does not use the colors red, white, or blue. It was officially adopted in 1962.

2. The longest flag
Qatar’s flag is the only national flag with a length more than twice its width. Its length-to-width ratio is 28:11.

3. An old flag with a single color
From 1977 to 2011, Libya’s flag was a plain green rectangle.

4. The only non-rectangular flag
The flag of Nepal is the only national flag in the world that is not rectangular. It was officially adopted in 1962.

5. Number of stars in the flag of Brazil
