High peaks of Uttarakhand Himalayas
Nanda Devi
Nanda Devi is the highest peak in Uttarakhand. The peak has an elevation of 7,816 meters (25,643 ft) and is located in the Chamoli district. Nanda Devi peak is also the 23rd highest mountain in the world. The area around the peak is a protected National park known as Nanda Devi and Valley of Flowers National Park. The national park is a UNESCO world heritage site.
Kamet
Kamet is the second-highest peak in Uttarakhand. It stands at an elevation of 7,756 m (25,446 ft). Kamet is the 29th highest mountain peak in the world. It is also located in the Chamoli district of the Garhwal region.
Nanda Devi East/Sunanda Devi
Nanda Devi East or Sunanda Devi is located east of Nanda Devi. With an elevation of 7,434 m (24,390), Nanda Devi East is the third highest mountain peak in Uttarakhand Himalayas.
