Thailand comes at number two on this list. 39.8 million tourists visited Thailand in 2019. A major emphasis is laid by the Thai government in promoting tourism as it is a major contributor to Thailand’s economy. Some famous destinations in Thailand are Bangkok, Phuket, and Chiang Mai.
